Volleyball

Volleyball is one of the sports that have the most fans in the world, today it’s estimated that more than 800 million people are actively playing volleyball all around the world, perhaps that’s also why it’s also regarded as the most played sports in the world besides soccer and basketball.

Basically today there are two “official” forms of volleyball game, indoor volleyball and sand volleyball which also known as beach volleyball. These two sports eventhough having the same root have several significant differences that make each of them has its own uniqueness. Some of the most significant differences are the number of players and the court where the game is played. Indoor volleyball is usually played inside a building or a gym on a solid floor with 6 players on each side, while beach volleyball is played on the sand and most of the times held on the beach, the official version of this game is played by 2 players on each team, the court is also smaller than indoor volleyball.
